Thoughts Affect Matter
Thoughts have the ability to affect solid things in reality.
Einstein once said:
“Concerning matter, we have been all wrong. What we have called matter is energy, whose vibration has been so lowered as to be perceptible to the senses. There is no matter.”
Everything is just vibrations of energy and matter doesn’t exist, but how does this affect your life?
Good question – it doesn’t change anything on its own accord except for simply giving you a glimpse of the plasticity of what we really perceive to be “solid” things. Understanding this, maybe now it is easier to see how our thoughts affect “matter”. (What matter?)
Nothing really exists outside of you; it’s just an illusion so you can experience this world we call “physical”. Why would one want to experience this? Because it’s fun and its exciting, isn’t it? Maybe… but I digress.
“The world is like a ride in an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it, you think it’s real because that’s how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it’s very brightly coloured and it’s very loud and it’s fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time and they begin to question, is this real, or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, “hey – don’t worry, don’t be afraid, ever, because, this is just a ride…” – Bill Hicks
The solid state of the world we experience isn’t solid at all – it’s all really energy, condensed to a slow vibration (as Bill Hicks puts it). Our thoughts and core beliefs manifest the world around us. It’s what holds everything together so we can have an experience.
Consciousness as Creator
Consciousness, being the observer, hold the particles of the atoms together to get what we perceive. Everything you see right now are atoms being held together by the fact of your observation. You are creating everything you see, even other people.
“There is no matter as such. All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter.”- Max Planck (founder of the quantum theory)
The world we see and perceive is just energy, simply just a potentiality of infinite experiences and infinite creations. The manifestation of thoughts in this dense, physical world we live in isn’t instant and does take time. If it was instant, everything will just be everywhere all at once – it wouldn’t make sense and you wouldn’t be able to experience anything at all.
The universal purpose is growth, and this applies to everything. The word “purpose” doesn’t really fit here, as it can imply some form of a “must” or “doing”. But rather, that is really all the Universe knows, that’s all that is possible – growth.
Growth is the inevitable result of experience and the desire to learn and experience and expand in consciousness.
Have Passion For What You Do
Your purpose is growth, and your individual purpose is to find what will allow you to grow the quickest. This is your role in society, this is what will bring in wealth and success. Finding the thing you love, and doing it effortlessly. Everybody has a purpose, you have to, otherwise you wouldn’t be here. You play a bigger role than you think, you just have to find that role. You will find that your ultimate role in society will not only bring success for you, but will influence others to find their role.
The #1 rule for success is ultimately having passion for what you do. Loving every aspect of it and just the thought of it should excite you. When you do something you find difficult, when an obstacle is presented, you will probably quit. Any sane person won’t have any motivation to persevere through the obstacle if their normal job is already an obstacle.
But when something is done with passion, when you love everything about what you do then the obstacles aren’t such a big leap to overcome. They are minor, they are seen with a different light, shown as a guidance and the small nudges to keep you on the right path. You have a sense of burning desire to overcome the obstacle immediately, as it is a big block to your passion and happiness.
When you’re doing something out of a sense of “work” however, then the obstacle is blocking you from something you already would rather not be doing, allowing you an excuse to quit.
Never settle, never do something because you have to. Find something that gives you a fiery passion, a burning desire to do even without any pay, and this will lead you to success.
“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.” – Steve Jobs
